About Us

While the Whitmore Family has been farming in Payne County since 1890, Wayne and Connie Whitmore started Whitmore Farms in its current form since 1982.  They began by growing produce in southwest Payne County that they sold wholesale to restaurants and large vendors. In 1986, they joined other local farmers to create the Stillwater Farmer’s Market. Throughout the years they have expanded and now have four markets a week they attend in Stillwater and Edmond.

Wayne and Connie’s son, Justin, along with his wife, Ciera, are now expanding again with the opening of Whitmore Farms Market located between Perkins and Coyle on Hwy 33. The store will have produce directly from the farm and only a ½ mile from where it is grown. Along with local produce, the store will have beef, eggs, and jams—all raised and made on the farm!

Justin and Ciera are excited for the opportunities this store will allow them to know their neighbors better and provide fresh, quality produce to the local communities without them having to drive to Edmond, Guthrie, or Stillwater.
